The first community chapter formed soon after former Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber launched the Archimedes Movement in January 2006, and since then more than thirty community-based chapters have formed across the state, and a couple have started in Washington. They are meeting to expand the circle of dialog, inviting others in their community to join and meet. See if there is a chapter in your community – if not, consider starting one by clicking here.
We also have some discussions that cut across geographic communities and join people who are in common professions, or have common interests. For example, you might want to take part in a community chapter and a group of people who are interested in labor unions. Once you register as a member on this site you can sign up for as many groups or chapters as you want, then when you post a comment you can put it in those different discussion forums at one time.
Health and health care impacts us all - get involved and join a WeCanDoBetter.org chapter or group now.
