What you choose to do with your after tax dollars is up to you. If you want to use your money to purchase health services above and beyond what is covered in the "core benefit" you will be free to do so. The Archimedes Movement supports a system in which we all contribute to the cost of a "core benefit" – essential health services – and we are all eligible to receive it. Health services not included in the the "core benefit" can be purchased with private dollars but the cost of these services will be be subsidized with public dollars.
