Answer
Reform efforts can get derailed when people move too quickly to the mechanics and details of a system. The Archimedes Movement didn't start with a detailed plan but rather with a discussion of the values and outcomes we wanted a new health care system to produce for us in our community. Thousands of people helped shape the vision and principles online, in chapter meetings around the state, in stakeholder committees and by writing via email or postal mail.
We move into a new phase with the opening of the 2007 Oregon Legislative Session. Details of the next step are discussed in The Oregon Better Health Act.
