Event will be separated into three areas of focus:
1) How to lobby for health reform: how the legislative process works, how to establish a relationship with your legislator, how to get your message heard.
Speaker: Jo Ann Bowman, Exec. Director at Oregon Action.
2) Moving the message - key persuasion tools. How you can you appeal to your audiences' values, hearts and minds.
Speaker: Courtney Dillard Ph.D., Persuasion for the Common Good.
3) What we mean when we say "health reform?"
Speaker: Liz Baxter, Exec. Director at The Archimedes Movement.

- Legislative process - points of access, committees, calendar for legislative activities
