Event Description

The Beaverton Chapter will be attending the Oregon Health Fund Board Washington County Town Hall. We will be wearing our "We can do better" t-shirts and hope to be a rather substantial group in the audience. Please join us. If you don't have a t-shirt, you can purchase one at the web site www.wecandobetter.org.

For those of you who don't know, the Oregon Health Fund Board was created by the passage of Senate Bill 329. This legislation established a seven member board and directed it to develop a comprehensive plan to ensure access to health care for Oregonians, contain health care costs, and address issues of quality in health care.

The Board wants to hear the public's input on broad health reform concepts. The meetings will include both large and small group discussions to find common values among Oregonians on health care quality, access, cost and delivery. The input from these meetings will be summarized in a written report to the Board.

So, join us, take part in the discussion and have your voice heard.
