.....from now until the end of this 2007 Legislative Session, every Wednesday is health care lobby day. If you wanted to get to Salem last week but couldn't you still have a chance to meet with your legislator and have your voice heard. They still have many decisions left to make, including moving SB 27.

Our allies have stood with us to keep the Oregon Better Health Act alive. We need to do our part to make sure that legislators don't ignore the pressing needs of today for Oregon's children and families, and don't pass up the opportunity to lead the nation in starting an open and honest debate about health care reform.

If you can make it to Salem on any Wednesday between now and the end of June let Matt Webber know. He can work with you to get appointments set up with your representative and/or Senator and make sure that you have the most current information about the status of bills before you walk in.
