Monnes-Anderson, Rep. Greenlick, Sen. Kruse and Rep. Harker to discuss the critical need for quality affordable healthcare options for small businesses and individuals; and invited representatives from the Oregon Health Fund Board and nonprofit healthcare advocacy partners.

OSBHI’s mission is to mobilize Oregon small businesses to speak with one voice for quality, comprehensive, sustainable healthcare at a reasonable cost for small businesses and all Oregonians.  We are actively engaging small business owners to talk about Oregon and America’s broken healthcare system.  As you know, more and more employers and employees are bearing the burden of higher costs and decreasing quality of care.  OSBHI is preparing a position statement, which will be available soon.  Several of the following healthcare policy elements are evidenced in testimony that OSBHI has provided to the Oregon Health Fund Board as well as House and Senate Committees on healthcare:

  • Quality, affordable options for small business, their employees and all Oregonians
  • A solution that reduces costs and provides for cost containment
  • Better leverage of federal funding

Increased efficiencies through streamlining and technology
